Mrs. Barbara Ida Gantner, 63, of 1713 Muren Bld, who with her husband was obserin her 45h wedding anniversary yesterday, died at her home at 12:10 yesterday afternoon after an extended illneess. Born in Belleville, Dec. 6, 1884, sh was the daughter of the the late Theodore and Christine Letter Wuertz. She married Arthur Gantner Nov. 25, 1983 and he survives. She was a menber of the Perpetual Help Sodality of St. Theresa's Catholic church. Besides her husband, she is surved by three sons, James and Robvert, at home; Victor of 1409 North Church St. and three grandchildren, Arthur, Edward and Mary Beth Gantner. The funeral will be from the Gaerdner funeral home at 8:45 Monday morning to St. Theressa's church at 9 o'clock with Very Rev. Wm. Hoff officiating. Burial will be in Green Mount Cemetery. Joseph Bryant either abandoned Emma Brooks or divorced her, although in 1900 census she says she is a widow and he says it's his first marriage --- maybe he just didn't tell. ccording to Ann Hill's souce, Joseph Bryant was an alcoholic, and that is why Emma divorced him.

He then married (20 Georgia -- no children. Lillie divorced Mr. Farrell and married Oliver Kellogg (Ollie). He is buried in Chamberlain Cemetery, Kingsville, tX.

Although ailing for two years with a heart condition, Mrs. Wright's death was unexpeccted. She was the mother of Thomas Wright, business representative of Carpenter's Local No 433 here. Mrs. Wright was bborn here April 14, 1882, a daughter of Theodore and Christina (Letter) Wuertz, both of whom wer born in Germany. She married Edward Wright at St. Luke's Catholic Church 47 years ago, and he died Oct. 4, 1943. Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Thomas of 728 First St.; Wilbur of 1016 Lebanon Ave; Fred, of 3327 W. A st.,, Elvira, wife of Lawrence Bauer, and Virginia, wife of Urban Huelsman, of Fayetteville. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and a sister, Ida ;....... Four brothers and four sisters preceded in death.Mrs. Wright was a life-long member of St. Luke's parish and was a member of the Perpetual Help Sodality of the church............... Found William in 1910, 1920 & 1930 census. Need to access images for 1910 & 1920. In 1930 he and Mary are living in St. Louis. Their home is rented. He is working as a laborer in a paint factory. Mary is at home. William is 54, Mary 63. William was 29 and she was 38 at the time of their marriage. Need to find if there were children, or if she had children by a prior marriage. Found Willie's WWI draft registration card. At that time, living in Chicago. DOB check.s. Copy difficult to read, but gives occupation as Wisconsin Steel Mill. NOK is Mrs. Mary Trost. He is drescribed asshort, stout, brown hair and black eyes. According o Billie Compton, he and Mary had no children and she was an alcoholic.
